Flight of The Conchords - Two guys from New Zealand who like to rock the party and will do so anywhere, be it at a club, in a library or in an elevator.
If you have not seen "Hiphopopotamus vs. Rhymenoceros",  your life is incomplete.

Tenacious D.  - Jack Black can sing like a Micky Ficky and Kyle Gass is phenomenal on guitar.
The level of talent raises The D. far above a novelty act. When Napster was cool (free) and you could sample (steal) an artists music, I downloaded (stole) the song "Wonderboy", and I was hooked. When Dave Grohl was not fighting foo, he played drums on the albums.

I bought the first album three times, Two Pick of Destiny CD's, One DVD, went to see the movie and saw them live in SF. If you were a good band/performer then you had nothing to fear from Napster. But if you had one good song and the rest of the album sucked, (Metallica), then screw you.

Comedy Central - Bringing the best funny for twenty-some odd yar.
I remember when "The Daily Show" was hosted by Greg Osborn.
Or was it Craig Oswald? Grey Killsall? Crazy Killborg?
That's right, it was a homicidal halfrobot named Crazy Kilborg.
He wasn't that funny and I think he liked sports or something.

He left the show to become head of the RNC (Really Nasty Cyborgs).
I think.
